Fresh Artisan Bread is Coming November 20!

Mark your calendars because, starting November 20, we’ll have incredible fresh-baked bread in the shop! I met Brian from Gratefull Breads at a Wildberry Farm Market this summer, and he handed me a piece of his focaccia. Now, I’m usually not a big bread person…but let’s just say that one bite turned into a LOT more. I might’ve brought it home “for the family” and…okay, fine, I ate the rest! This bread is that good, and I knew we had to bring it to Tasty Toucan to share with you.

What’s a holiday table without pie and ice cream? We’re bringing the best of both with mini ice cream pies! Take your pick from flavors like Apple Pie, Snappy Pumpkin, Caramel Fudge, or Bananas Foster. And if you’re baking your own pie, don’t forget to grab a pint of our handcrafted Vanilla Bean—it’s the perfect finishing touch! You can pick up a pint from the freezer or order ahead to ensure you don’t miss out.

It’s back! Stuff Your Stanley will be on Saturday, November 23, bring your Stanley or any thermal cup, and we’ll fill it with four scoops of ice cream, a sundae, or even a milkshake.

Tasty Mini Donuts to Share the Thanks!

Nothing says gratitude like donuts, right? Our mini donuts are the perfect treat for Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, or just because. Available by the dozen or two, these tasty nuggets of joy are great for sharing (or just for yourself—we won’t judge). to make sure you have them ready for any grateful gathering.

Shop Staff

Hey there! 🎉 Join our awesome team and be part of something sweet! As a shop staff member, you'll be the friendly face that greets and serves our wonderful customers. Following our delicious treat guidelines, providing top-notch customer service, and keeping everything spick and span are all part of the fun. Plus, you'll get to whip up some tasty treats and ensure everyone leaves with an A-plus experience!

No worries if it's your first job, as long as you've got a knack for basic math, cleaning, and communication, you're good to go. Our shifts are flexible, with evenings and weekends spanning 4 to 8 hours of sugary goodness. We're looking for folks who are eager to learn, can take direction with a smile, and aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hard.

Happiness...it's what we do.

The vision of owning a small local business has been in my mind for over 35 years.What it was I didn’t know until a few years ago. After 20+ years in the creative marketing industry the spark was gone. I was miserable. I wanted to make people happy and there is only 1 thing in this world that brings happiness to EVERYONE….ICE CREAM!!! In 2017 the vision began to build.

After 3 years of developing a brand, look, feel, product and place Tasty Toucan opened their doors on October, 18 2020. Yes you read that correctly I opened an Ice cream shop during a pandemic headed into the winter. That is how much I wanted to bring happiness to people. If there was something that people needed in 2020 it was happiness!

From the moment you approach the door you feel happy. Walk in and it’s hard not to smile. A colorful beachy tropical vibe is fun and relaxing. We keep things exciting with simple (put your phone down and talk) games like connect four, jena, chess, and tic tac toe. Our photo op spot changes at least every 3 months, to capture that smile and memorable moment.

There is nothing worse than to go out for ice cream and have the flavor be blah and icey. If the environment and people at Tasty Toucan don’t make you happy the flavor will. We experiment, test and research what goes into our products until we find the best flavor. Our chocolate chip cookie sandwiches feature scratch made cookies from the local bakery (Peace of Cake). Our award winning Paletas (popsicle) are made with whole fruit and fresh fruit juices. Seriously you just have to try it to experience the flavor. 

And one more thing, we love parties! Especially one with ice cream! That’s why we also offer catering services. To bring you and your guests a good time and amazing dessert!
