Gone into hibernation

We’re Hibernating. It’s about to get cold and dark in Maryland (Winter is coming). We’re using this time to get some rest and bring you a better Tasty Toucan. We love our “downtown” Stevensville location but think it’s time for a change. This decision did not come easily. We’re not sure when or where we will crawl out of the cave but until then we will miss you!

I created Tasty Toucan with one mission; to make people happy. Everyone who came through our door made that possible, and I am eternally grateful. You made us part of your family, celebrations, after-school stops, and “just because” treats. We’ve watched little ones grow, learned your favorite flavors, and made friendships that mean so much more than a transaction across the counter. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and love for every person who walked into our “downtown” Stevensville shop. Thank you for making Tasty Toucan such a special place.

Over the winter, we’ll be exploring new spaces and new ways to bring Tasty Toucan to you. We’ll keep you posted as plans take shape via email and social media.

Initially we’re working on ways to keep your favorite Tasty Toucan treats within reach, so stay tuned for grab-and-go freezers filled with our handcrafted happiness! Locations and details to come.

As we get ready for this next chapter, we’d love you to share your favorite moments at our “old” location! The ice cream smiles, messy faces, celebrations, or just a favorite afternoon together—share your photos on social media and tag us using #iloveTastyToucan, or send them to info@tastytoucan.com. It would mean so much to see this place through your memories.

Have an idea for our next chapter? Send it to info@tastytoucan.com—we’re open to ideas! Be sure to follow us on social media and check back here for updates, freezer locations, and whatever sweet things come next.

Thank you for six years of love, laughter, and ice cream. We’ll miss your faces and smiles, but we’re hopeful about what’s ahead.

With love and gratitude,

Nikki
